Rene Marie Russo is an American film actress and a former supermodel. Apart from her beautiful beauty, her continued success in the competitive film industry can be attributed to her talents as an actor. The model began her modeling career during the 1970s. Soon, she became one of the most sought-after models. After completing her acting studies Russo embarked on a career as a model in Los Angeles. The year 1987 saw Russo played Eden Kendell in ABC's drama Sable. She portrayed Tom Berengers' love interest the following year on Major League, her debut movie. At first, she was unsure of her acting abilities however, the critics were impressed by her work. They were particularly impressed by her performance in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak In which she fought herself against the likes that of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. Rose Namajunas is one of the female athletes with the highest success within the UFC. She started her professional career by being an amateur, performing various regional competitions before signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And then she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. Because of her success both inside and beyond the Octagon, Namajunas has become known as a common name since joining UFC. Namajunas was born on the 29th of June 1992 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. His birthplace was brought up by a Lithuanian family. Rose participated in basketball and kickboxing throughout her growing up. She made her debut in professional competition when she was 18 in the Invicta Fighting Championships in which she won two matches by submission. Dana White noticed this and in December 2014, at age 22, she signed her up to compete as a strawweight in the UFC. Rose has had highs and she's also experienced lows throughout her professional career, but she always came out on top. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April of 2015. Rose was awarded the Women's Strawweight Champion and also won Fighter of The Night. It was the very first time that a female competed against a major promotion in a title fight. Namajunas was victorious in several bouts after this fight and was awarded Performance Of The Night by UFC for her victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
