Taylor started her career with YouTube, at first creating ASMR videos on her phone. Shortly after hitting 50,000 subscribers approximately 1 1/2 months after posting her first video she was featured in a video about gaming created by PewDiePie. Taylor stopped working for her Youtube channel at two months. There were close to 100,000 subscribers. The main reason was technical problems and that she felt overwhelmed. In August 2022, after having a hiatus of several months, Taylor began to make videos, like the ASMR 10 triggers to help you sleep (35 million hits). In July 2017, she released another popular video, ASMR 20 Triggers to help you To Sleep (38 million views at august 2022). In August of 2017, Shane Dawson interviewed her and she soon reached 1 million YouTube users. In February 2019, Wired UK estimated that she earned $1,000 a day through advertising on her YouTube channel

Helfer is a native of rural Donalda, Alberta, Canada in Canada, the children of Dennis and Elaine Helfer. Her birthplace was in the town of Donalda, Alberta Canada. Her parents are Elaine and Dennis Helfer. She was a graduate of the Stettler's William E. Hay Composite High School. The three sisters Tammy, Tara, and Trena as well as her worked on the family farm. A modeling agency scout came across Helfer aged 17, while standing in line to see a film.
